Aaron Chiggal is our New Vice President and we are happy to have him take on this role. Aaron brings a lot of experience to the table he has served as 2 years as Vice President and president for the power engineers union for ten years before joining 7106. Shaleen is our Health and Safety Grand Pumba. She over sees all union safety and is active in everything safety.

◦ 2012-2014 Facilitator Level 1-3 certificate from the SFL/CLC Prairie School for Union Women
◦ 2014 - facilitator of Violence against women Plenary at the SFL Prairie School for Union Women
◦ In 2015/16 took on the role of Unit Chair for Canadian Kraft Paper Industries, Wescana Inn and Aurora House doing bargaining and grievance handling
◦ 2017 to current - USW rep on Canadian Kraft Paper Industries Pension Board
◦ 2018 to current - Became Facilitator for USW District 3
Mitch is our Grievance chair and sits as our co chair in the zinc plant. Mitch is very involved with the union sitting on our joint harassment panel, bump and shut down committees. Mitch works a monday-thursday 6am-4pm
Lisa has served as our trustee for the last 4 terms. Lisa works at the flin Flon mill on a 4 on 4 off schedule she will be moving to stall mill in the summer Lisa is a shop Stewart is available upon request.
Scott has served as our secretary for the last three terms. Scott also sits as our Lalor safety Co chair. He is a active Stewart in both shop and safety. Scotts works at Lalor mon-thursday day shift (6am-4pm) and is available upon request.
Mike is a trustee on the board and a Devoplement miner on crew 4 at Lalor mine. Mike is also a active shop and safety Stewart.
Jason is long hole driller at 777mine and sits as our treasurer on our excutive . Jason has been our treasure for the last 4 terms. and is an active shop Stewart.
Mike is our 777 mine health and safety co chair. Mike also sits as one of our trustees in his first tour on the executive . Mike is highly involved with mine rescue and training. as I life time miner we are happy to have mike experiences and vision at our table.
Vern is our Union Chair for Frontier area 4
Vern is our go to guy for shop or safety Stewarding. Vern is also involved strongly in the Community and helping positive change in the work place
Amber is our one of or support staff specialist. Her duties are to much to list basically she is the glue that keeps this local together and we would be lost with out her . If your calling the hall or reaching out to us via email there a good chance you will be communicating with her. Amber has been a vital part of this local for over 20 years.

Matt is our staff representative . His duties includes arbitrations, and a resource for our local. Mat is very educated on labor and union issues and is continually is updating us on new laws ,work and union issues that's we can apply right at our work place. matts commitment to make all of our workplaces better is just one of the things we have all gained by having matt on our side.
